The Codex Compact Drive Adapter was made so a Compact Drive could be accessed in an SXR Capture Drive Dock or other Codex hardware like the Vault. The adapter costs a bit less than the USB-C reader but allows the same read speed as the Compact Drive Dock. It's an ideal accessory for productions that use the ALEXA Mini LF alongside an ALEXA LF, ALEXA 65 or ALEXA SXT W. Note: Compact Drives cannot be used for recording on an ALEXA SXT W or ALEXA LF.
