We introduce the R2, the successor to the original Rainbow Linear LED luminaire. This design adds a host of new features while maintaining the same sleek, robust, low-profile shape as many of the older Quasar products you have come to love.
The R2 is offered in three lengths: the Q100R2 at 91 inches/232 cm, the Q50R2 at 47 inches/120 cm and the Q25R2 at 23 inches/59 cm. All feature multi-pixel control without compromising the clean colours or high performance we have always been known for. The Q25R2 offers 10 pixels, the Q50R2 has 24 pixels and the Q100R2 allows 48 separate pixels. |

We know how important efficiency is on set, so we've upped the calibre and developed the Ossium mounting system to give you the most versatility yet.
In collaboration with G-Force Grips, Rainbow 2 lights come direct with the Ossium rail and slider to mount hardware anywhere on the back of the light. Also included is the Ossium Baby Pin, which can be attached to the rail or slider so you can position your mounting point in just the right spot. .

Colour always comes first at Quasar Science, which is why our RGBx technology enables our luminaires to achieve an SSI rating of 76 in daylight and 91 in tungsten, and CRI/TLCI values of 95+ when producing full-spectrum white light from 1750k to 10000k and the most intense saturated colours.
Equally important in maintaining the precise colour mixing that Quasar has always stood for are the dimming features. Improved colour fidelity and low-end dimming bring each colour mix closer to a true 1% intensity than ever before.

The onboard control interface with OLED screen includes the new output or "blackout" button, which can be used to edit parameters while the light output is disabled.
We've also retained our wired RJ45 passthrough connections, allowing direct data connection for protocols such as DMX, sACN* and ArtNet. Built-in Ethernet node for advanced data networking and studio installations. .
Extensive wireless capabilities with CRMX, W-DMX, Bluetooth or WiFi* provide even more options for wireless data connectivity.
